Scope

For this ground improvement project, ICOP installed full displacement columns. These rigid inclusion elements supported the renovation of a historic government building in Wilmington, Delaware. 

Unique Challenges

Because we were working on a historical site, it was crucial for our team to provide significant support without compromising the existing building. We load-tested 12-inch diameter full displacement columns up to 70 tons. ICOP overcame an aggressive schedule to safely and efficiently deliver a high-quality project.
