ICOP installed approximately 1,100 linear feet of temporary sheet piles to support foundation construction of the future Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel. The 17-story, 800 room luxury hotel will connect to the existing convention center.
The site was adjacent to The Fillmore: a prominent venue and important example of art deco architecture in Miami. To minimize disruption to adjacent structures, the ICOP team needed to use two advanced methods: vibratory driving with ASAP Group’s patented Sheetpiler™ and silent press-in technology using a silent piler.
