ICOP installed 1,910 linear feet of sheet piles and a permanent tieback to create an anchored sheet pile seawall. The permanent tieback consists of 205 post-tensioned hollow-bar tiebacks. These structural elements anchor the seawall to stable, competent layers deep underground. This allows the wall to withstand lateral loads over time.
Ground conditions required us to predrill hard soils. Once predrilling was complete, our team used ASAP Group’s patented Sheetpiler™, equipped with a mounted vibratory hammer, to install the sheet piles. This allowed us to minimize disruption while successfully installing nearly 2,000 feet of sheet piling along the seaside.
