ICOP was responsible for the supply, vibratory installation, and removal of 1,096 linear feet of cantilever steel sheet piles. These ran along the northern, eastern, and western perimeters of the building’s parking garage.
Our team also supplied and pressed in 470 linear feet of anchored steel sheet piles along the perimeter adjacent to existing historic homes.
ICOP created the southern perimeter wall by supplying, vibratory installing, and splicing 192 linear feet of cantilever steel H beams and wood lagging.
Finally, we supplied, installed, and removed 356 linear feet of cantilever steel H beams and sheet piles surrounding a stormwater vault.
Due to the hard soils encountered in borings below 40 feet, our team needed to predrill for approximately 1,452 linear feet.
We used ASAP Group’s patented Sheetpiler™ to drive sheet piles ranging from 45 to 65 feet each day. Average daily output of our silent press ranged from 25 to 30 feet per day.
For this project, our team used a combination of PZC18, PZC26, ESZ20, AZ18, and AZ19 sheet pile sections, as well as HP14x102 H pile sections.
